Trinity Collegiate announces Advanced Placement Scholars

Trinity Collegiate School announces its 2021 Advanced Placement (AP) Scholars. Trinity partners with The College Board to offer AP opportunities in 22 AP courses and is the only official Pre-AP school in the Pee Dee providing certified advanced placement curriculum for students beginning in eighth grade. High school students across the country and around the world take AP courses and exams to challenge themselves, explore their interests, and earn college credit and placement. AP courses give students a head start while in high school by allowing them to get a taste of college-level work while developing the academic skills needed for college success. AP Exam scores can earn college credit that is transferable nationally and internationally. The AP Scholar Awards recognize high school students who have demonstrated exemplary college-level achievement on AP Exams. The AP Scholar Awards are academic distinctions for students to cite among their credentials on applications and résumés. AP Scholar distinctions are awarded in three levels. “I am extremely pleased with the dedicated hard work and commitment to excellence demonstrated by our teachers and students on the 2021 AP Exams. This educational platform provides Trinity students seamless transition into prestigious colleges and universities around the country,” said Ed Hoffman, Head of School.
