Tony S. Anderson
DARLINGTON – Tony S. Anderson, 68, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021. A graveside service was held Friday, Jan. 15, at Darlington Memory Gardens. The family received friends following the service. Those who wished to pay their respects could do so Thursday at Belk Funeral Home in Darlington. Born Jan. 22, 1952, Tony was the son of the late Loman Kistler Anderson and Julia Belle Lee Anderson. He retired from Dixie Cup after 25 years. He enjoyed playing golf and fishing, enjoyed antique cars (he won many trophies at car shows), and was proud of his 1923 T-bucket. Tony was a member of Darlington Cruisers. Surviving are his wife, Denise B. Anderson; son, Andy (Amanda Doyle) Anderson of Darlington; grandchildren, Addison “Addie” Olivia Anderson, Brendan, Liam and Madeline Doyle. Also surviving are his brother, Mitchell (Pat) Anderson of Darlington; sisters, Josey Bramlett, Brenda (Russell) Galloway, both of Darlington, and Betty (Kenneth) Goeke of Florence. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant daughters, Stephenie Marie and Angela Michelle Anderson; and his mother and father-in-law, Maggie Anne Duncan and Grady Carlisle Britt.
