Suspect sought
The Darlington Police Department says that on Feb. 21, a suspect being sought by city police on charges of criminal sexual conduct with a minor was arrested after barricading himself in a house in the 100 block of Syracuse Street. Larry Eugene Stewart (above) was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Carolinas Regional Task Force and the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office Special Incident Response Team.
