Student says she was beaten unconscious in school bus fight
A student told police she was beaten unconscious by another girl during a fight on a Hartsville Middle School bus Oct. 5. “She was punching the victim without stopping,” an officer who reviewed video of the incident wrote in an incident report obtained by local media. The alleged attacker, 13, has been charged with assault by mob, third degree, according to reports. The Hartsville Police officer said the fight apparently began when the attacker threw a cell-phone case, hitting the other girl in the head. The victim hurled it back. “More words were exchanged,” and the attacker allegedly got up and began punching the victim in the back of the head.
