Special election for County Council seat is June 15
A special election to fill a vacant seat on Darlington County Council will be held June 15. Republican Kirk Askins and Democrat Yovonda Price-Mack will face off for the Hartsville-area council seat vacated by Lewis Brown on Feb. 1. Brown is now the county’s director of economic development.
