Shooting suspect released on $200,000 bond
The son of Darlington County Sheriff-elect James Hudson, who was arrested in August on a charge of attempted murder, has been freed on bond, local news media report. Jordan Andrew Hudson of Hartsville was released from the county jail Dec. 5 on $200,000 bond, WBTW-TV reports. Jordan Hudson is accused of shooting a man in the back Aug. 9 in the 2200 block of Center Road outside Hartsville. The State Law Enforcement Division was asked to handle the case by the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office because James Hudson works in law enforcement and the agency wanted to avoid any potential ethical conflicts.
