A second man in Darlington County is being accused of multiple counts relating to sexually exploiting children, officials say. James Marcell Oneal, age and hometown not available, was arrested Jan. 13 and charged with six counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor, first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and two counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, local news media report. He reportedly is free on bond. In another case recently announced by S.C. Attorney General Alan Wilson’s office, a Hartsville man, Brandon Joel Ivy, 35, faces nine charges connected to the sexual exploitation of minors. Investigators received a CyberTipline report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, which led them to Ivy. Investigators state Ivy possessed multiple files of child sexual abuse material. Ivy is charged with nine counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, third degree, a felony offense punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment on each count.
