SC House of Representatives recognizes Darlington Country Club’s Centennial

The resolution was presented to club owners Tim and Nancy Huntley by State Representative Richie Yow (District 53), who is himself a longtime DCC member.

Darlington Country Club’s mid-year Members Meeting took a celebratory turn on June 23, as members gathered not only for routine club business but to mark a significant milestone: official recognition from the South Carolina House of Representatives honoring DCC’s 2026 Centennial Celebration.

The honor formally recognizes a century of community, tradition, and fellowship at the club as it marks its 100th anniversary.

DCC also extended its appreciation to Representative Robert Williams (District 62) for his role in helping sponsor the resolution, underscoring the bipartisan, community-wide support behind the milestone.

As Darlington Country Club looks ahead to the future, this legislative recognition serves as an early and fitting tribute to a hundred years of history — and a preview of the celebrations still to come.
