Rotary Club of Darlington Auction
Join the Rotary Club of Darlington for their annual Scholarship and Community Project Fundraiser Auction on Thursday, March 31 at 6:30 PM at the Darlington Country Club. There will be a live auction, silent auction, door prizes, raffle, and hors d’oeuvres. The auctioneer will be Troy Stengel, #2842.
Proceeds from the event will allow the Rotary Club of Darlington to support both community and global projects. Previous projects include:
• Two scholarships to graduates of Darlington area high schools;
• Two scholarships to students at Florence Darlington Technical College;
• Dictionaries for every third grader in Darlington, Lamar, and Society Hill;
• Support for The Lord Cares, Free Medical Clinic of Darlington County, Habitat for Humanity, Darlington Downtown Revitalization Association, and Darlington Area Chamber of Commerce;
• POLIO Plus, a global mission to eradicate polio;
• Rotary Foundation Programs.
Items to be auction include: Adirondack Chairs and two tables; Keruig coffee maker; Adirondack chairs; pair of tickets to Southern 500; pair of tickets to XFINITY series race; one week at beach house (off season); several paintings by local artists, and much more!
