“This is a 12 and under gym but anybody can use the Game Room. So, during the summertime, to play basketball from 1 to 5 p.m. you have to be twelve or younger. The Game Room is open to anybody who wants to come and play from 8:30 in the morning to 5 o’clock in the afternoon. Right now all we have is pool, ping-pong and foosball but it will give people something to do other than come in here and shoot basketball. We had the foosball and ping-pong and the pool table was donated. We debated whether to paint the room or not but the brick is kind of a retro look so we are going to live with that for a little while.”- Lee Andrews, Darlington County Parks Recreation & Tourism Director.
The game room is located at the Harmon Baldwin Gym, 300 Sanders St. in Darlington.
