Police: Woman hit man with her car

A woman has been charged with attempted murder after hitting a man with her car in Hartsville on Sept. 1, police said. Tonya Marie Jackson was being held in the Darlington County jail on a $100,000 bond. She is accused of deliberately hitting someone with her car in the area of Tuskeegee Street and Pleasant Lane. Jackson said that at some point, the man had thrown a rock through her windshield.
