Owens-Dickerson Engagement
Mr. and Mrs. Merrill F. Owens of Pleasant Hill, S.C. are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Macey Deanna Owens to Julian ‘Rhodes’ Dickerson III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Julian R. Dickerson, Jr. of Darlington, S.C.
The bride-elect is a 2011 graduate of Carvers Bay High School in Hemingway, S.C. and a 2014 graduate of Francis Marion University. Macey is a first-grade teacher at Johnsonville Elementary School.
The groom-elect is a 2009 graduate of Mayo High School For Math, Science and Technology in Darlington, S.C. and a 2015 graduate of Coastal Carolina University. Rhodes is a physical education teacher at Dewey L. Carter Elementary School in Florence, S.C. and the head coach for the South Florence Bruins Junior Varsity Baseball Program.
Macey is the granddaughter of Mrs. Jackie M. Harrelson of Pleasant Hill, S.C. and the late Mr. Charles E. Harrelson and the late Mr. and Mrs. A. Odis Owens.
Rhodes is the grandson of Mrs. Joyce B. Dickerson of Darlington, S.C. and the late Mr. Julian R. Dickerson, Sr. and Mr. Earle B. Wilson Jr. of Darlington S.C. and the late Mrs. Sara W. Wilson and the late Mr. Clyde C. Welch and the late Mrs. Addie B. Welch.
The wedding is planned for June 17, 2017 at the First Baptist Church in Hemingway, S.C.
