One killed in I-20 crash
One person was killed and at least two others injured Sept. 4 in a three-vehicle accident on I-20 in Darlington County, the S.C. Highway Patrol says. The patrol says three vehicles were eastbound on the interstate about 6:20 a.m. when two vehicles slowed for traffic. One vehicle was in the right lane; the other in the left. The patrol says a Hyundai sideswiped a Toyota pickup truck, knocking it off the road. It flipped over and hit a tree, injuring the driver. A Dodge pickup sideswiped the Hyundai. The Hyundai also overturned, ejecting the driver, who was killed. A passenger was injured. The Dodge’s driver was not hurt. The name of the person killed had not been released.
