One dead, one hurt in Darlington-area gunfire
Shootings just outside the Darlington city limits on Friday left one person dead and another wounded, officials said. The Darlington County Sheriff’s Office was investigating the incident on Dotts Circle about 6 a.m. Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee identified the dead man as Dimitri McDaniel. There was no immediate word on any suspects.
