Olympian Boxer visits children July 12

Ray Mercer, a boxer who won a heavyweight gold medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics, visits with children July 12 at a day camp sponsored by the Darlington County Recreation Department. It was held at the gym of the B.A. Gary Educational Complex in Darlington. After posing for photos with the kids and showing them a video of his boxing prowess, Mercer then posed for some photos with members of Coach Larry Frazier’s One More Round Boxing Team.
