Amy Morris, incoming Executive Director for the United Way of Greater Hartsville.

The United Way of Greater Hartsville welcomes Amy Morris as its incoming Executive Director.

Amy will officially join the United Way team on July 13th, bringing with her more than 25 years of experience in fundraising, community engagement, donor relations, strategic communications, and nonprofit leadership. Most importantly, she brings a genuine passion for building relationships and connecting people with opportunities to make a difference.

Throughout her career, Amy has focused on strengthening communities by bringing people together around causes that matter. Most recently, she served as Director of Annual Giving and Donor Relations at Coker University. Prior to that, she worked with Pegasus Therapeutic Equestrian Farm and spent nearly 25 years at Kent State University, where she helped foster meaningful connections between donors, alumni, and the university community.

Amy believes deeply in the power of service, collaboration, and community partnerships. Those values have already made her a familiar face in Hartsville. She currently serves on the Board of Hartsville Interfaith Ministries and the Board of Trustees at Butler Academy. She is also a member of First Presbyterian Church’s Mission and Service Committee.

Friends and colleagues describe Amy as a relationship-focused leader who enjoys getting to know people, listening to their stories, and working together to create positive change. Her experience and commitment to community make her a natural fit for United Way of Greater Hartsville’s mission of improving lives and strengthening our community.

In the weeks ahead, Amy will be meeting with donors, community partners, volunteers, and friends of United Way as she becomes acquainted with her new role. She is looking forward to learning more about the people and organizations that make Hartsville such a special place to call home.

Please join us in giving Amy a warm Greater Hartsville welcome. If you stop by the United Way office, take a moment to introduce yourself and help her feel at home. We are excited for the future and look forward to the leadership, energy, and heart she will bring to United Way of Greater Hartsville.
