Mayor and City of Darlington remember the 13 U.S. service members killed in Afghanistan

The City of Darlington, in an effort led by Mayor Curtis Boyd, has arranged 13 flags outside the Courthouse in memory of the 13 U.S. service members killed in a bombing attack in Afghanistan. The display also includes a hand-painted wooden plaque with the soldiers’ names. Boyd credited several people, including former police chief Danny Watson, with aiding in the display.
