At Mayo High School for Math, Science & Technology, Mrs. Ruth Taylor’s class conducted a new lab for her dual credit biology 103/103L FMU course.

Here, the students were trying to engineer the best sunflower seed dispersal system to mimic what nature does to move seeds away from the parent plant.

Mrs. Taylor’s dual credit course is one of several dual credit courses offered at Mayo where students can earn college and high school credit.
