Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration
MLK JR. DAY CELEBRATION — The pandemic drastically curtailed Darlington County celebrations of Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, but Cornerstone Baptist Church near Timmonsville hosted a “stay in your car” rally for the civil-rights leader. Scores of residents stayed in their parked cars and listened on the radio to a lineup of area pastors. Here, S.C. Rep.
