DARLINGTON — Margie Suggs Duval, 76, of Darlington died on Monday, May 24, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family. Funeral services were held Thursday, May 27, 2021, in the Chapel of Kistler Hardee Funeral Home. Burial followed, directed by Kistler Hardee Funeral Home, in Darlington Memory Gardens. The family received friends Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at Kistler-Hardee Funeral Home with a reception at South of Pearl (located directly behind the funeral home). Margie was born in Darlington County. She was the daughter of the late Willie and Ella Mae Oliver Suggs. Margie was a member of First Free Will Baptist Bible Church and enjoyed good conversation with her family sitting on her back porch. She was an avid game player and particularly enjoyed Bingo and Candy Crush. Margie had a heart of gold and was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Her unconditional love was felt by everyone who knew her. Surviving are her daughter, Terri Randall and husband, Michael; her son, Francis W. “Frankie” Duval Jr.; her grandchildren, Savannah, Spencer, Logan and Emery; her brothers, Johnny Suggs, and Randall Suggs; and several loving nieces and nephews. Margie was preceded in death by her husband, Francis W. Duval Sr.; her grandson, Wyatt Duval; her daughter-in-law, Kim Duval; her brothers, Billy, Jackie and Julian; and her sisters, Mary, Judy, Helen, Martha and Janice.
