Man slain in Darlington
Police are investigating the shooting death of a 47-year-old man late Saturday night in Darlington. Tyree L. Simon died shortly after midnight, said Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee. He has ruled the death a homicide. Hardee said Simon was shot on Short Street within the city limits of Darlington. The Darlington Police Department, the Coroner’s Office and the State Law Enforcement Division are investigating the case.
