Local Church earns historic marker

Pastor Eugene Thomas Jr., Rep. Robert Williams, elders and members of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church gathered Sunday morning for an historical service, marking 153 years since the creation of the church. Brian Gand, Executive Director of the Darlington County Historical Commission and Museum spoke about the church’s history during the service.
