House campaign seeks donations

The Darlington County Disabilities and Special Needs Foundation is a private non-profit organization that serves people with intellectual/developmental disabilities and related special needs from birth through senior age. These disabilities and special
needs refer to intellectual disabilities, autism, head and spinal-cord injuries, and other related lifelong disabilities.

People with disabilities are a vital part of our community, and we strive to provide them with the training and skills necessary for their personal success in all areas of their lives. The Foundation’s purpose is to provide funds and seek additional funding for the Darlington County Disabilities and Special Needs Board and over 500 individuals who are served through various services and supports.

Our 2015 Frederick C. Bowen House Campaign is seeking funds to build a new home for disabled residents on land donated by the Bowen family. All funds received will go toward the construction of the new home for disabled members of our community. These homes are an integral part of our mission to enhance the lives, develop the abilities, and promote the independence of people with disabilities.

Please consider being a sponsor for this campaign and help to change the lives of those less fortunate in our community.

Thank you for your consideration,
Darlington County Disabilities and Special Needs Foundation
Ruth Blocker, Executive Director of DCDSNB
