HopeHealth unveils new facilities at Bethea Retirement Community

HopeHealth hosted a virtual ribbon cutting ceremony Dec. 8 to celebrate the opening of its newest location, HopeHealth at Bethea. “We are expanding our partnership with Bethea (Retirement Community in Darlington) as we continue to improve the health care of our seniors,” said Dr. Edward Behling, HopeHealth chief medical officer. “Dana Jones and the team at our beautiful new primary care office will provide excellent care for patients of all ages but will continue to focus on our seniors.” The one story easy-access facility is the perfect setting for the senior population of the Pee Dee and is a partnership between HopeHealth and Bethea Retirement Community. “As Bethea was developing plans for our new ‘household model’ nursing and rehab center, it was also our desire for Bethea residents, staff, and our surrounding community members to have access to quality primary care services,” said Ben Spurling, executive director and administrator of Bethea Retirement Community. “We are excited to be able to partner with HopeHealth and look forward to supporting them as they serve our community.” HopeHealth at Bethea includes: — New 1,900-square-foot office space — Three exam rooms — Spacious waiting area — Lab room — Dedicated entrance “Our expanded services and hours will allow us to broaden the scope of care that we are able to offer, and we are hopeful that we will soon be able to resume our popular ‘Seniors with Hope’ program at Bethea as well as at the Medical Plaza,” Behling said.
