Hartsville’s American Legion Post 53 installs ramp for disabled veteran to remember 9/11
Hartsville American Legion Post 53 remembered the 20th anniversary of 9/11 on Sept. 11 by installing a previously used wheelchair ramp for disabled veteran Jim Millsap and his wheelchair-bound spouse. The ramp was found, disassembled and delivered to Millsap’s home Sept. 4 by an American Legion crew organized by John Coy (South Carolina American Legion District 2 commander) from the Charleston area.
