Hartsville Pickleball Club donates $2,000 to Hartsville Soup Kitchen

Demonstrating its commitment to promoting healthy living, fostering community connections, and supporting local charitable organizations, the Hartsville Pickleball Club recently donated $2,000 to the Hartsville Soup Kitchen.
Located at 145 E. Carolina Avenue, the Hartsville Soup Kitchen provides hot meals and essential food assistance to some of the community’s most vulnerable residents. The organization serves elderly individuals living on limited incomes, people with disabilities, families facing financial hardship, unemployed and underemployed individuals, and volunteers supporting community projects such as Habitat for Humanity. Through its daily meal program, the Soup Kitchen helps ensure that those in need receive nutritious meals while strengthening the spirit of compassion within the Hartsville community.
“The Hartsville Pickleball Club is proud to support organizations that make such a meaningful difference in the lives of our neighbors,” said Club President Jane Yates. “Giving back to our community is an important part of our mission.”
The donation was presented to Pastor Fred McDaniel of Wesley United Methodist Church, Frankie Bush, Chairwoman of the Hartsville Soup Kitchen Board, and Billy Hall, volunteer and Interim Director.

The Hartsville Pickleball Club’s mission extends beyond the pickleball courts by encouraging healthy lifestyles, promoting mental well-being through social interaction, and giving back to organizations that improve the quality of life throughout the Hartsville community.
