Hartsville man who fled, crashed faces 12 charges

A Hartsville man who led officers on a chase through parts of two counties June 27, then crashed his car, has been released from a local hospital and now faces 12 charges, county jail records show. Christopher Bradley Hall, 25, was booked into the county jail July 5. He is charged with assault and battery, second degree; resisting arrest; failure to stop for a blue light (four counts); receiving stolen goods worth $10,000 or more (two counts); receiving stolen goods worth $2,000 to $10,000; violation of a beginner’s permit; use of license plates not issued for that vehicle; and reckless driving. Bond was denied on some charges. Officials said Hall crashed his vehicle after a chase through Darlington and Chesterfield counties; he and passengers reportedly were ejected from the car. According to reports, Hall is a suspect in crimes in Darlington and Chesterfield counties involving stolen vehicles.
