Hartsville, Emmanuel go head to head

Hartsville High School Varsity Volleyball scrimmaged against Emmanuel Varsity Volleyball team on Wednesday in the Hartsville High Gymnasium. They played two full games which Hartsville won. The Red Foxes are led by new coach Parker Oldham, who served as an assistant coach to the program last year. Hartsville showed to be stronger gaining a majority of their points from offensive plays or off their own serves. Emmanuel on the other hand showed to be a defense-dominant team gaining the majority of their points off defensive scoring or opposing serves. Hartsville takes on the Darlington Falcons in their season opener on Tuesday and Mcbee High this Thursday at home on 8/24 at 7:00 pm. pm in Hartsville. Emmanuel Christian is set to face Grace Christian away on Tuesday and this Friday, 8/25, Northside Christian at home at 5:30 pm.
