The Hartsville Red Foxes picked up a 42-34 win over the visiting South Florence Bruins on Friday, October 23, at Kelleytown Stadium in varsity football action.
The Red Foxes’ D.P. Pendergrass scored 3 touchdowns and rushed for 88 yards in the victory.
Hartsville’s Roddi Morris also scored 3 touchdowns and had 140 yards of pass receptions.
The Bruins’ LaNorris Sellers passed for 3 touchdowns and 279 yards and added 2 rushing touchdowns.
South Florence is 1-4 overall and 1-3 in Region 6-4A while Hartsville is 2-3 overall and 1-3 in Region 6-4A.
In upcoming football action scheduled for this week, South Florence will face Myrtle Beach on Friday, October 30, at 7:30 p.m. at Myrtle Beach while Hartsville will travel to face Wilson on Friday, October 30, at 7:30.
