Hartsville-area woman dies in hit-and-run
A 39-year-old Hartsville-area woman was killed in a hit-and-run accident Saturday night on S.C. 151, authorities said. Karen Rene Felkel of Pine Ridge was pronounced dead at the scene, said Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee. The S.C. Highway Patrol said the incident happened about 9 p.m. on S.C. 151 near Santee Drive. Officials said it was close to the Chesterfield County line.
