Bond has been denied for a fourth suspect charged in a June 19 slaying at a gas station near Hartsville. Darius Montrez Ings, 29, was booked into the county jail Sept. 27 on charges of murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. Jail records show that he has been denied bond on both charges. Ings is being held in the death of Mardrall Deon Addison, 35, who was killed at a gas station off Bobo Newsome Highway. Three others have been charged in the case. One of them, officials allege, lured Addison over to the car by using gang signs and taunting him.
