Florence man dies in Darlington County crash
A 24-year-old Florence man was killed Friday evening when his vehicle collided with another car in Darlington County, officials said. Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee identified the victim as Bryson Gibson. Officials said the crash took place about 5 p.m. on Secondary 175 near S.C. 34. Hardee said it was near Bethel United Methodist Church. The Highway Patrol reported that Gibson’s Mitsubishi Lancer ran off the road, overcorrected and veered left of center, colliding with a Nissan Pathfinder.
