Family argument leads to stabbing

A man was being held in the Darlington County jail after being charged in a stabbing that resulted from a family argument, police say. Kaleb David Felkel, 20, of 1129 Nicholson Rd., Hartsville, was charged with attempted murder, according to Hartsville police. Jail records show he also was charged with possession of less than 1 gram of methamphetamine or cocaine base, first offense. The incident took place March 24 at the Hartsville Motel on North 5th Street. The victim’s condition was not known; he was being treated at an area hospital.
