Epps announces candidacy for Darlington City Council
I, Linwood Epps, announce my candidacy for Darlington City Council. I have been a City of Darlington resident for over 30 years. I would like to offer my expertise in helping Darlington grow. I am married to Glenda Epps. I have twin sons, Clark and Mark, who graduated from St. John’s High School. I retired from Darlington County EMS, and I am a graduate of Coker College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.
Darlington needs new ideas in moving forward. I am very Pro-Safety. Our Law Enforcement and Fire Services are critical in keeping our citizens safe.
We all know about the “Ditch” problem that is taking so long to correct. Our entranceways need improving and our city’s dilapidated buildings need addressing. We must have an aggressive effort in helping our current businesses to grow and expand. We need to attract new potential businesses to open downtown. Our residets have additional concerns that need addressing now.
We all need to be respectful of each other and work together for a brighter future for “our” City of Darlington. With your help we can make a difference and out city the “Pearl” of the Pee Dee.
