Elsie L. Drew
MARION, SC — Elsie L. Drew, 81, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021 at McLeod Hospice House after an extended illness. A graveside service was held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery, directed by Richardson Funeral Home. Mrs. Drew was born in Florence, a daughter of the late Norval J. Poston and Berniece Richardson Poston. She is also preceded in death by her first husband, Cletus R. Bennett; her brothers, Bobby A. Poston (Mamie Ruth) of Darlington and Ralph E. Poston of Florence. Mrs. Drew was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church. She was retired but had worked for GE, and ESAB-LTEC. Surviving is her husband, Michael Drew of the home; son, Dennis R. Bennett (Lynn) of Timmonsville; grandsons, Christopher Bennett of Marion and Cole Bennett of Darlington; and brothers, Joe Poston (Betty) of Thomasville, NC and Randle Poston (Lilly Mae) of Darlington.
