Election filing ends
Tuesday, August 17th at 12 Noon was the final deadline for election filing in Darlington County. There are 3 candidates running for Mayor of Darlington and several others running for Darlington City Council, Hartsville City Council, Lamar Town Council and one for Society Hill Town Council.
The Candidates for Mayor of Darlington are:
Current Darlington Mayor Curtis Boyd, Damain Prince, and Scott Pruitt.
The Candidates for Darlington City Council At-Large seats are:
Current City Councilman Bryant Gardner, Former Mayor Gloria Hines, Albert Johnson, Angela McRavin, current City Councilmember John Milling and current City Councilmember Howard Nettles.
The Candidates for Hartsville City Council are:
Current City Councilmember Bryson Caldwell, Colin Hungerpiller, Brian Meadows, Shawn Morrison, and Craig Weber.
The Candidates for Lamar Town Council are:
Angele White-Bradley, Current Town Councilmember Inez B. Lee, and David Guinn.
The Candidate for Society Hill Town Council is Kevin Long.
