Deputies arrest man in Lydia-area slaying

The Darlington County Sheriff’s Department has charged a man with murder in the shooting death of a person on Harrell Road near Lydia. Tyrone Addison, 38, of 646 Galloway Store Road, Hartsville, was booked into the county jail March 22 on charges of murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, jail records say. No bond had been set for him. The victim, identified by county Coroner Todd Hardee as Shaquille Deandre Harkless, 26, of Darlington, was shot about midnight Sunday.
