Delivery delay for March 1st paper
Due to difficulties with the United States Postal Service, delivery of the News and Press will be delayed this week. Shipping labels for the newspaper appear to have been lost in USPS transit somewhere and did not make it in time to get the newspaper mailed to our subscribers on the regular schedule.
Street sales of the newspaper will not be affected by this so if you normally purchase your copy of the paper from a local retailer, you will still be able to.
Paid subscribers who wish to can come to the News and Press office, 117 S. Main Street, and pick up a copy of the paper at no extra charge; subscriptions will be verified.
