An ongoing investigation by the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office has led to the arrests of two Myrtle Beach residents who allegedly tried to detonate pipe bombs in Florence, officials say. A tip to the DCSO last month began the investigation. The Florence Police Department later arrested two Myrtle Beach residents – identified as Tyler Scott Santaniello and Krystal Raven Jaworski – in an alleged attempt to set off one or more pipe bombs in the Radio Drive area of Florence. Later, Myrtle Beach police arrested a third person, Ashley Lynn Rom, of Ohio, alleging that bomb-making materials were found in her apartment at the coast. It wasn’t clear to what extent this case might be connected to the others.
