Darlington’s Sonic has ribbon-cutting
The Darlington Chamber of Commerce welcomed the Sonic drive-in restaurant on South Main Street last week with a ribbon-cutting. Darlington’s first Sonic has been operating for months, but this was the city’s official welcome. Sonic, founded in 1953, has more than 3,500 restaurants in 46 states. The Darlington Sonic is open from 6 a.m.-11 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 6 a.m.-midnight Fridays and Saturdays.
