Darlington minor is charged with murder
On January 20, 2023, Darlington County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a shooitng around 3:30pm on Syracuse Street. Darlington County Sheriff James Hudson said two juveniles were shot and one did not survive. The sheriff’s office has arrested a 17-year-old and charged them with murder, two counts of attempted murder, criminal conspiracy and misprision of a felon. The name of the minor has not been disclosed.
