Darlington holds Memorial Day Service on square
About 100 people turned out to honor America’s war dead during Darlington’s Memorial Day ceremony at the Courthouse on Monday. Lt. Col. (retired) Grady Weaver of Hartsville was keynote speaker. The Pledge of Allegiance brought the crowd to its feet. Plans for adding more space for “memorial bricks” at Veterans Memorial Park ended the day’s ceremonies. PHOTOS BY BOBBY BRYANT
