Darlington company high on list of delinquent taxpayers
The S.C. Department of Revenue has named a Darlington company as one of South Carolina’s worst delinquent taxpayers.
In its latest report on businesses owing tax debts to state government, the DOR lists Davis Enterprise Corp. of Darlington in its Top 10 worst offenders. The company, whose address is listed as 1972 Harry Byrd Highway, owes $695,000 in taxes, the DOR alleges.
Though not in the DOR’s Top 10, the agency’s report lists a Hartsville company, Parklane Enterprises Inc., 201 W. Carolina Ave., as owing $121,000.
