County airport gets federal grant for improvements
The Darlington County Jetport has received a federal grant of more than $1.8 million to construct, extend and improve a safety area, according to reports. It’s one of two airports in the Pee Dee slated to receive federal grants for improvements. The Marlboro County Jetport has received $835,701 to rehabilitate its taxiway, according to an announcement by the Federal Aviation Administration.
