Cooks for Christ sponsor Weinberg-Windham benefit
There will be a Chicken Bog Benefit for Brittany Rayne Weinberg-Windham on Thursday, September 15 from 11am to 6pm at the West Florence Fire Station, 3379 Pine Needles Road in Florence. Brittany is the daughter of Albert and Dotty Weinberg-Windham. She is 21 years old and lives in Lamar. Since her premature birth, she has suffered many severe health problems and numerous surgeries.
Cooks for Christ is raising funds to help the family purchase a wheelchair-accessible van. The plates are $10 each and can be delivered if the order is 7 or more plates.
