Community Connections receives DDRA grant

The Darlington Downtown Revitalization Association (DDRA) awarded Community Connections a $1,000 grant for the improvements to the facade of the building. Located at 446 West Broad St. in Darlington, the organization, founded by Lindsey Byrd, will serve as a Soup Kitchen to those in need in Darlington. The DDRA awards these specific $1,000 grants to those local businesses who take the initiative to “spruce up” the exterior of their buildings with paint, awnings and/or new signage.
