Man charged with Attempted Murder, Armed Robbery and Possession of Weapon during violent crime

On July 30, 2026 deputies responded to the 1100 block of N. Fifth St. in the Hartsville area of Darlington County in reference to a subject being assaulted and robbed. Darlington County deputies and investigators, with the assistance of the Hartsville Police Department, were able to identify and arrest a suspect. He currently remains in the W Glenn Campbell Detention Center awaiting bond.
