Florence-Darlington Technical College receives $16,500 donation from SC Endeavors for the colleges Early Childhood Education program which educates students interested in a career working with children as child-care workers in private and public centers, school systems, community and state agencies, as well as religious institutions.

Trinity Collegiate Titans defeat Lake View to win championship
In the second year of the girls’ division, the SCISA 4 A Trinity Collegiate Lady Titans in their debut to the tournament defeated the returning champion SCHSL 1 A Lake View Lady Wild Gators 55-36 for the championship in the 36th Annual Pepsi Carolina Classic presented by South Carolina Federal Credit played at Wilson High School in Florence to benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Pee Dee.
