Car strikes, kills man
A man was killed Wednesday night when he was hit by a car on Highway 52 in Darlington County, said county Coroner Todd Hardee.
He identified the victim as Dustan Bradley Jordan, 38.
The incident occurred July 8 on Highway 52 a mile north of the Fastrack convenience store. Jordan was walking along the roadway when he was struck, Hardee said.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
