Arrest made in June slaying

A suspect has been charged in the June slaying of a man whose body was found in a car near Hartsville in the area of Patrick Highway and East Home Avenue. Dontrelle Lorenzo Huff faces charges of murder, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, armed robbery and criminal conspiracy in the June 9 incident, the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office said. Oddly, authorities have not released the name of the victim in the case. His name has been redacted in copies of arrest warrants released by the DCSO.
